I hope it aint true, we dont need him to be fair. Mahon's playing out of his skin and deserves his place right now, Faullin is getting to grips with the pace of the game in this division, Watson is top class, Leigertwood is also in great form, so no we dont need him.

Davids is excellent behind the scenes. Gets on well with younger squad members, cajoles them and offers a sympathetic ear. Still very very tactically aware - alas his legs were shot when I last saw him at Spurs a year ago when he was training with the first team. Might be a decent signing that could push the entire squad over the line.

I know he'd prefer London to Leicester

His age doesn't bother me it's whether he has still got it is our concern and how much it would cost us. Furlong is repeatedly showing that age doesn't matter as it's all about ability.

With Watson to come back and Leigertwood can play through the middle do we need another central midfielder?

Is everybody saying they rather Mahon then Edgar Davids :horror: I like Mahon but in a defensive Midfielder role people must be of there rocker to not have someone like Davids in the team or set up. Yes he is 36 but IMO would be a great signing as long as he dont demand high wages.
