I thought our defence looked shaky apart from Barrowdale. He tackled well, passed intelligently and supported the midfield, Tarby in particular, very well. Don't know what he needs to do to convince some people. Yes he isn't the greatest header of the ball but for a change why don't we focus on what he can do. He is improving week by week and I for one am starting to see why he was so highly rated at Palarse.

You shouldn't underestimate how important his passing is. Look at Leicester. Most times they got the ball in defence it ended up coming back to us. What Jim seems to be saying to our defenders is pass it to a hoop and Barrowdale excelled at that and his range of passing was better than our other defenders.

The boy has really surprised me. Long may it continue.

Not good enough at both full back possitions, no pace doesn't stop crosses comming in and very rarely delivers quality balls going forward. Honest hard working isn't enough out wide, you get away with it at C/B but not out wide.
