well, a few months ago,
it was who brought these players into the club, Faurlin, Borrowdale, Simpson etc, last season it was Ramage and Cerny, which was being criticised.
End of the day, fans are not going to change there views even if we are in the premiership. You cannot under-estimate what a great job JM and JG are doing, but they are working with GP on a daily basis and these players have been negiotitated and brought in by him. Jm has inherited basically the same team from last season and done a fantastic job. Please don;t point to Sousa not having Rowlands and Buzsacky, we;ve not got Rowlands now and we sre thumping teams!! Simpson is a replacement for Blackstock. All in all, anyone will find an argument to convince themselves they are right, but I'd rather being watching this, than the dross I witnessed towards the end of last season.
I have no problem with giving enormous credit to all of the management and directors, its shame that some still want to single the guy out for no kind of credit. Hopefully, over-time that will diminish. As for the record of players from about 4 years ago, we didn;t have any money and supporters who want to dig up players from that time are even worse than the fans who bring up comments from 3-4 months ago. Its history, we are on the up, everyone should enjoy the ride.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Pete as a Blackstock fan that you are, do you think we would be playing this exciting football if we had your wish and kept blackstock in the side? Simpson has great movement and I think the way we are playing football really does make me right in not wanting Blackstock in the side. I know this is an old topic but I have noticed no one seems to be mentioning dexters name. I won't say I told you so.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I'm saying,
within reason you could play this style of football and still would have scored goals if we had Blackstock or Simpson. Its the way we are playing.
We had tarrabt and routledge last season. The first one was sub half the time and routledge was never allowed to frighten defences with his pace, it was more "lets not lose the game", now its "lets win the game" and show them what we can do. Thats a big difference.
You'll find if one of the front 4 got injured (lets hope the stay injury free), we score the same amount of goals if say someone like Vine, Balanta or Hogan came in. And yes, given time even Lee Cook.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

I disagree.
Simpson now offers movement something Blackstock never had.
A big part of our success is the pace throughout the side.
The pace and movement is destroying the opposition so IMHO Simpson who lets not forget has scored 6 goals, actually contributes much more than blackstock ever did. We can also play through balls and look to get behind defences. I still think we need a big man like a king because I agree with sir pie where we will need to use a plan b but I think that selling blackstock was not the disaster that everyone thought and it is nice we can move on.I played sunday league football today.

I'm with you on a big man up front, as an alternative/back-up (what about Odejajyi?
The counter argument to that would be, why should we have a big striker up front? They have to defend against us and you dont; have pacy 5 ft centre halves, they are terrified by pace.
I looked at the Derby central defenders last night and they didn;t know who they were marking. Having a conventional centre forward will just play into there hands. We don't need to do that. We are miles behind the technique of Arsenal, but the style is very similar. No-one in this division can live with us, if we play like that.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

I have only seen Odejajyi once.
If was barnsley v chelsea in the fa cup.
He was very poor and I don't think the fact he is now scoring goals in league 1 should be worth looking at.
I think the big man should be on the bench.
I don't think it would suit our style and when we did (occasionally) play it long we never kept hold of it. I also like the fact that Jim has taught them not to sit back on a lead. It is an easy option to throw on a big man and launch it long but we didn't we just kept the ball. All very positive and JM and JG deserve a big pat on the back. They are doing al the right things and maybe they watched video's of the sousa era and decided to do the complete opposite.I played sunday league football today.

I'm on a wind up about Odejayi
All, I can say well done for GP in getting in those players and JM and JG adapting those players to a style that at times is breathtaking. Long may it continueALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

in the begining
origionally there was only isleworth and me and q block and scott jones and myu we were fighting hundreds of message boarders trying to establish gianni as a human being
who had put his own house up on mortgage to raise 650 000 to help to keep the club going
so all you gianni haters are amazing why cant you understand that the diminitive italian has done nothing wrong
hes has only done his best, why cant we now start to realise there would be no flavio or the mittals or bernie if it hadnt been for giannies dream

Gianni should be respected for what he has done for this football club. I think most people are starting to like Gianni but others are 2 stubborn to admit when they are wrong. Well done Gianni and keep up the good workI played sunday league football today.
