Lads, we've won 4-2. In front of a big audience on the BBC. We've spoiled Derby's party. Let's celebrate.
p.s. Don't think Claridge was trying to be clever. He was just misinformed (ie - he got his details on da internet). There are a lot bigger numpties out there.

Olly, have to agree with you. We're all been a tad sensitive.

Actually, what I thought he said was that we had spent our money very well, considering what we allegedly had to spend!
Happy to be proved wrong, however I did get really annoyed about the constant references to the Derby injury list.
Is this the TV voodoo buried?

                    No Man of the match?

                    No player/manager interviews?

                    Sky all is forgiven

Yeah but be fair this was national terrestrial TV-great exposure but they would never extend the programme for games at Championship level. Sky show the games on a Sports channel remember.

I thought claridge gave us alot of credit and said we'd spent our money well maybe my hearing is going!!

At one point he likened us to arsenal with our passing and movement and said our front five are as good as any in the league.

I agree, thought Claridges comments echoed what non-Hoops think but on the whole he was complimentary. Plus he was very honest about the referee and professional footballers all in all I prefer BBC coverage to Sky, football and no ott coverage.
                            RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat
