A strange virtual, minority world.... where people act like it's real, or that it remotely matters in the great scheme of things.

Find I am visiting this site less and less cos it's so slow.

Spending more time on qprdot.org where you can actually click on a link and it is on the screen straight away as opposed to 15 seconds or so later.


And it's not my computer or ISP as I have access to 3 computers all with a different ISP and it's the same on them too.

Also can't stand MYU's posts that have the little yellow lightbulb thingy to the left of the thread title.
They go to a link opened in another window which just takes ages.
Why can't he simply cut and paste the info (which is normally of interest) and quote where it was taken from, if this is an issue.

That just about covers it.

I have never had a problem with the speed of this website to be honest but I do have that special Virgin Broadband thingy in technical speak

ok with speed on this - but most threads do turn into little arguments which can get a bit repetitive.....

First of all this site is no slower than any other website I use and that includes my home and work PC.

Having so many people visit the site can slow it down and that's not something we can help, we host our own videos which could slow our server down but I don't seem to have any problems and the first I've heard of yours.

If anyone else finds the site slow then please let me know because there could be problem that I'm not aware of.

In regards to cut and paste, it's not the correct way of doing things and have had discussions with a number of parties. Most websites have copyright which means you should not be doing that. We are doing the correct thing by linking to the original article. I was told you can't just quote where it was from and was advised to do things in this way.

If it takes your PC 15 seconds to change pages then there is something wrong with all of them. It takes my PC's few seconds but never 15 seconds unless the Internet goes down and then it takes minutes.
