hes a player whos associated with the brilliant alec stocks outfit, so exiting
he was simply sensational dribbling down his playground the left wing
alec stock was an amazing man always seemed to have a smile on his face
every one of his players seemed to know what to do he knew his place

a flash of genius and marsh had scored again
those days were so nice it was a pleasure for them to train
love love love the players enjoyed so much joy
each new tactic seemed like a new toy

old lazer was the other tallented winger
rumour had it he was also a good singer
eleven coffins deliverd to wemblies towers
that day we looked above for some special powers

march 67 was to be our greatest day
what a fantasic time for us to play
we thrashed then baggies three goals to two
    roger morgan i love you

      yeah

yeah i was there that tearfull day i cried my eyes out when we were losing
i was only a kid i had my shair of hurt and bruising
but the pain of being two goals down had me beaten that day
but bow legged mark lazarus was going to have his say

our first goal was enough to keep us alive
      second was rodneys speculative drive
third was a present from the man in the sky
he has answerd my prays he would not lie

              roger

roger was so tallented but we sold him to spurs before he came to fruition
we needed money he was the amunition
then injury wrecked his career when he was so young
he was an honest player not tempted by a bung

                      i

facto i often wonderd would ian morgan have developed more if we never sold
                      roger
he always seemed a less of a player once roger was sold, but amazingly both players had there careers cut short through injury,

                            today

today we really have a fantastic game to play
there will be one or two happy rangers i would say
although in the first half we do go one goal down
all watching ranger fans know we are gonna really go to town

the second half starts ,come on come on rangers step up a gear
the players are so full zest they know not any fear
as the game comes to a close and weve won three one
gianni opens a big bottle of champaign and now starts the fun
                            o

                              yeah

yeah there were times when i doubted you
                              everything is white and blue
                              but my heart remained true

and now we are getting out of this division im sure
a diminitive italian formed a dream that he couldnt cure
so we are hurtling to the top looking for finacial lure

the football we are now playing is such a pleasure
wayne rutledge is our natural born treasure
and against derby we have got there measure

so we are going to win the game
we are going to rise to fame
queens park rangers are our name
