his ratio at the moment is pretty good,if he can keep it going;i doubt if any striker in this division will average 1 goal in every 2 games for the season;except maybe chopra

We could well by a new striker and could pay millions, however Simpson is fitting in well here and feel we should not look else where.
We must be looking at getting him here, if Arsenal don't want to talk make them, he will not make it there and be another wasted player.
They'll want to recoup all the money they've invested in him he's been there since he was 9 . If Connollys price is around 2m with add on's what will Simpson's be?

Simpson has played 596 minutes in 8 games scoring 5 goals = goal per 119 minutes. He has shot 15 times on goal which gives him 33% hit ratings.
Compared our other striker Vine has played 515 min in 12 games scoring 1 goal = goal per 515 minutes. He has shot 22 times on goal which gives less than 5%

Not every good player can just walk into a team and gel in this quickly, we have just found a player who fits well into this team and for that reason we should be looking to bring him in.
Let's say we bring another striker for 2m or maybe more and he don't fit in well then what?
We have found a player who is enjoying his spell here, the club should talk to this boy and ask him if he would like to play for our club and take things from there.
Trying to get players to gel is the most important and hardest thing in football, we are flying high and should do whatever we can to keep things this way.
I'm sure our club can come up with a good package for the player and Arsenal FC.
The other reason is that our club have had lots of good strikers come in and not made any impact at all, we have a list of them and it's so rare that we get one who does.

He isn't a top 4 Prem striker atthe moment and sadly, if he stays at Arsenal, he probably wont get a chance to develop enough.
He is way behind Van Persie, Eduardo, Bendtner, Walcott amd Arshavin is likely to be used in a central role before Simpson.
However, if Simpson was made available, other Prem sides are likely to bid for him.
QPR have no chance of buying him in January, unless promotion is very likely. Hopefully he will stay for the season and score the goals to take QPR up and then perhaps he can be bought for araound £2-3M.
