  • Glory Hunting Fans.....

Like many of football fans from lower leagues - i tend to be a bit of a football geek.I quite often watch my local team ..Folkestone.The ground is just round the corner from my house...and as i cant get up to midweek QPR games, i often pop round and watch them(I also know most of team and staff anyway)

I watch premier league games, Championship games and Spanish football....

What makes me laugh, is like many of you lot i suppose, i work with many Liverpool Man Utd an etc fans....Quite often in the morning after their televised games, i mention thier games but more than often they say...oh i didnt bother to watch it.

Now, these are fans that do ever watch their clubs "live" at their grounds and i suppose because they are on TV so much, they can't even be bothered to watch them on TV....unless they are winning something.

These fans have their sly digs at QPR etc...and make out they are the best fans since sliced bread - but they cannot even be bothered to watch their teams...

I was at Preston game - but am unable to travel midweek - due to local football commitments. But i would watch QPR every day if i could....

I just hate these so called bloomin glory hunting fans....

Apart from Arsenal (Sorry).. i don't like top 4 clubs and fans
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

          apart from arsenal?
Oh is it there policy that if you have a british passport you don't make there starting 11 that appeals? Oh and don't bring up 'but what about Walcott', I won't have it. I am a QPR and England fan and arsenal do sod all for my national side
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

loL GUYS - I don't care about the teams etc...., what just makes me laugh - is that the call them selves fans, but because their teams are constantly on TV... they cannot be bothered to watch them...

As for glory hunting fans at QPR.....the fans will come back as the football gets better ..you can count on that.Calling them glory hunting? Not sure....a QPR fan could be labelled as that. You have to be certified football looney to support us...

                Worrying developments......

At my boys football training last Saturday morning in Chelmsford, of the 14 boys in his Under 9's side, the replica shirt split was as follows:-

                8 Chelsea (which stunned me....)
                1 Man Utd
                1 Liverpool
                2 Arsenal
                1 Spurs
1 Croatia (my boys kit from his Nan's holiday in Dubrovnik)

Chelsea's community development team are hugely active in Essex - they've teamed up with Chelmsford City's academy squads and have purchased a huge piece of land on Great Baddow School to build a dedicated youth academy there.

Note - this is mid - Essex, not one West Ham kit anywhere to be seen. I'd be worried at the extending tentacles of CFC......

Nodge - i think you will find that everywhere these days....

My mate runs the local Folkestone boys Under11s....the clubs are scattered, but mainly Utd Liverpool Chelsea.

Ironically - Folkestone FC down here - take kids to watch Charlton.Charlton run a scheme. The youngs lads love the day out, really enjoy the football. They have also been to QPR.....they can see that it's possible to support and watch a team in real life....But it doesnt happen that way. They still support the bigs clubs...Tragic really

I was just staggered that with the young kids, in the middle of traditional Spurs/West Ham territory was this MASS of Chelsea shirts. It really flummoxed me. Not one, not one "local" shirt on show either. No Chelmsford, no Southend, no Colchester or Ipswich.

CFC have really been doing a number out here.

Glory hunters will come back out the woodworks if we keep this up...

what i cant stand is when man u fans around here go "oh yeah i think were gonna do it"..and they laugh at liverpool as if they really have some big feelings towards the big rivalry... Such rubbish, they havent got the first clue what supportng a football team is all about....

How someone can support a team they have no links with in any way and live 400 miles away from is just stupid, and rather sad...They sit in the pub buy a shirt and think there the ******, its rather embarrissing.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...
