Good thread Norths. Agree with a lot of those selections.
Would probably have found room for Buzsaky though who was a big favourite. Possibly Lee Cook and Alex Smithies too...
Cheers Stan.
I did have smithies jotted down as a potential, but couldn't see him making a top ten (suppose the same could be said for one or two others I've put on the candidates list to be fair).
Lee Cook I'm not so sure about. Barely got a look-in under Neil during the 2010-11 season. Obviously class prior to that.
Handful of excellent games whilst on loan yes, but not top 10 contributors of the decade I'd have thought?
Yeah, more of a cult like figure. Best remembered for his rugby tackle against Swansea. Surprised he didn't end up here in the summer, though. Just checked his wiki and he became a bit of a journeyman.
Yeah, he was error prone and I was fiercely critical of him on many occasions but...can his contribution on the whole be overlooked purely because of that? Saved us on many occasions.
With only one full season of the decade left we can probably look back and come up with a list that is unlikely to be challenged by anyone we see next year (sadly).
Would possibly reserve judgement on that one. Next season has the potential to be a big one for the likes of young Eze, Smyth, Oteh, BOS, Chair etc? Be interesting to return to this thread then...

Will only mean good things if we've got names being discussed from next season to go onto a list, so here's hoping.
10. Djibril Cisse
9. Massimo Luongo
8. Richard Dunne
7. Shaun Derry
6. Paddy Kenny
5. Nedum Onuoha
4. Adel Taarabt
3. Charlie Austin
2. Alejandro Faurlin
1. Clint Hill
