You really are something. And a stuck dull record. Read your idol's comments. He says playing four at the back enabled him to broaden the team. And play Eze. Why. Because, er, having one less centre back enables you to have one more creative player. Can you understand that?

One youngster was playing yesterday. Count them. Singular. Who, for some reason, was shunted out on loan by your idol until Christmas. Probably becuss he was readying the team for his trumphal return.

As much as I think there are a ton of better managers out there, you have to say (purely based on league position) that he's exceeded expectations in the end this season. The bar must be set much higher next season though, now we know how good these youngsters are. Let's see how he copes with expectations of being in or around the play-offs.
A logical and fair assessment which I agree with. He’s not going to be in demand so no need to rush in. Make him earn extension

Im not going to bite as we know what happened last time, did you not see ollies quote in january about building a team around eze? which obviously is what he had planned with eze in the team.

he chose he was always going to stick to, you have to have confidence in whatever you do, he had a few players short of the formation for perfecting it but players should still be able to adapt, also we had a serious lack of goals and

confidence stemming from a few years ago, but no goals in midfield or upfront, our positional play wasnt great asin supporting and making yourself available for the man on the ball. All things which getting the right players in and coaching,

which we are now starting to see the rewards, we`ve had a few years of really poorness & how do you expect it to turn around from what it was just like that? you had a little dig yesterday tarbs which i have to say i wasnt impressed with,

just because ive not seen the games all season, which isnt on mate as have seen enough to back up what ive always said about time being the thing here & ollie eventually getting things right, which a few of us have always said, i remember

van saying it aswell, and its exactly what is happening now! we now have a great blend and it was also all about timing with the youngsters ofwhich i personally think hes done a superb job & find it outrageous hes now getting questioned

over that, this is the best team spirit and bit of flare we`ve had for a long time and can see us proper challenging next season, but if it was upto me id go out of my way to sign up ned and robo as think we need them for this great balance

we`ve got & thing we`re building up, im going to have a bet on us winning the league next season mind you if we lose these players or more thatll be a big waste in my opinion.
You don't have to answer anything mate, just interested to hear your opinion.

As for the "little dig" yesterday. Just calling it how it is mate. You're by far in the minority when it comes to perception of Ollie's performance and ability. My point was simply that you are commenting on stuff that you haven't witnessed first hand. You've openly admitted you don't go to games and only started with QPR+ a couple of months ago. You're constantly arguing with guys like Alan and Westy who watch every kick.

For me, I watch almost every game either live or in the form of extended highlights. I have a fair idea of what's going on, but I don't suppose I have anything like the insight of somebody who's goes to every game home and away. Dunno what makes you think you're informed enough about the team and our performances to go head to head with guys that watch us home and away, and telling them that they're wrong etc.

By playing four at the back. We didn't need Eze's return from Wycombe to have had a better season with a more effective formation. And Smyth was out on loan.

I've no idea what happened last time. I suspect it involved you telling us repeatedly that Ollie's an infalliable genius.

No need for a "chin up" Pinks. I'm happy as Larry. The club is in better shape than it's been for years, regardless of the financial situation, and whatever I may personally feel about the manager!

I'm certainly out of this one. You've sucked all the oxygen out of it.

                      • Christ Almighty chaps, did I dream yesterday's game. Some of you are sounding like we've just lost 0-4 to Sunderland. Clearly formation wasn't working and it has improved performances like bidwell and yes I'd like to find a place in the team for Pavel who is an excellent talent, but I was at the game yesterday and you couldn't fault it. The last 7 games we have looked a very good side let's try and stay positive ffs because I really feel we've turned a corner and I was proud of my club, players and staff and yes that includes the pantomime villain that is Ollie!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                            • Pinkie, I know we've had our differences and the following is in no way a dig so please don't take it that way. Just trying to reach out in the hope of finding some middle ground over opinions:

Nobody is arguing that the youngsters have not made a difference and which we're all delighted about. But what most are saying is that it was mainly down to the formation change.

                              Genuine question for you:

Do you acknowledge that dropping 352 has made a significant impact? Compare the stark contrast of the last time he played that system - the 2-5 home defeat to Forest. Ever since then, with the 4 at the back, everything tells us that the results & performances have all improved dramatically. But for some reason you don't seem to acknowledge that, and are putting the form upturn entirely down to the youngsters.
