Why exactly? When they fierst came in , they said 10% rise max, mine went up by 50%. Then when we dared to question it, Flav threw his weight around about saving us.

Then they said its a price freeze when the VAT is lower, so we are paying more if we wanted 1.

THey need us like we need them. We know it, and when they know it I will go back all the time.

Until then I will go to the odd game.

And £20 is a good price, but not when you are sitting where you cannot see half the game.

The biggest problem is times are hard at the moment people cant afford to go every wk prices hikes dont help. I had a season ticket for the last five years but simply cant afford it anymore and what with moving away from london it would cost me an arm an leg in petrol every wk so now i have to pick and choose my games which i hate doing but have no choice.

Its hard for people who live a long off to make evening games, the local population has changed, no longer a big local QPR support, prehaps the club should now target local ethnic groups, we have a big forign influance at the club, ie Italian,Indian, hungarian, morrocan, latvian, spanish, jamacan, and prob more.

            GET EM INVOLVED.

I don't buy into the whole we've now got 3000 fans who can no longer afford to go I think we have a lot of supporters who would sooner cut their own nose of to spite their face over Briatore and Ticket prices.

Seriously there was about 3000 empty seats in Bronze last night all around the ground, not too sure if those tickets cost £20-25 but that is virtually the same prior to Briatore taking in over. Whats stopping you paying £20 for cheap seat and sitting in a better seat once you get into the ground?

If your skint fair enough but lets see how many of you start crawling out of the woodwork if we continue in this form and are pushing for the automatics.

Coming out the ground the other day I bumped into a lad outside the ground I know from the suburbs. I ask him what he thought of the game, he replied I wouldn't pay to watch that load of ****e. What made me laugh was the fella had found the time to slap it down to Bush but not watch the game???

Seriously I think you stay away fans need to sort it and support your team !

The initial big impetus was when we went up. After one season in the division attendances dropped.

Don't think this klind of crowd figure differs from a mid week game 4 years ago??

All clubs have glory hunters and we have them too, but genuine fans who cannot afford do run into high figures also.

One thing that does get my goat a little is 6,000 paid £40 plus transport to go to Manchester United last season, yet they won't spend £20 to watch QPR at home. Begs the question, what team are some actually supporting??

Touchy subject, but no-one can deny it happens

Happens with every team. We have been playing the Prestons for years, how long has it been since we played Man Utd?

Cant question what team they are going to support, unless of corse its a non QPR fan you are going with!

With the introduction of the new season tickets this season stopping the alleged “Lost my season ticket book can I have another one please scam” Is this another reason for a drop in numbers?

Tis a fair comment just like the 1000 or so fans who were no longer able to blag their way in every week for nothing at the start of last season.

It is the recession. Look at Boros crowd last night, i reckon most crowds are down about 20% game on game across most clubs outside the top 10 of the prem.

w12 I don't think your the right person to really question the loyalty of a fan struggling. You talk like £60 is 60pence and you have a disrespect for money. You have told me you earn more in a day than I earn in a week. So what the **** is £60 makes you come across as an upper class snob. I am glad you can shout across from Platinum to the c club and agree with Flab about us ****my £20 fans.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

To be fair you've hit on why the branding system is wrong. This Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze idea is a class system whatever way you dress it up and leads to arguments amongst fans . If someone says " I have Platinum" it gives an impression of someone that he has loads of money, which in itself causes a little resentment.

Don't know why this branding was ever introduced. If You sit on the half way line its always been more expensive anyway.
