How did he pass the interview when he failed all others.
Tbf very good player in day and gaging to give back and get back in game. He got to start somewhere so why not us.
Hasn't he had a crack at management ? Being a good player doesn't mean he will be a.good coach but doesn't seem he wants the earth for his services , last I heard of him he was talking about going for mayor of London , imo we have enough politicians in Les at the club
Ok......here goes,.....into the breach
I think there is some very unfair comments to hits in this thread.
He's stated the news and given his opinion that is all.
There have hardly been any threads on here in the last 24 hrs as a for instance, and so imo
to attack a poster for starting one & giving an opinion isn't going to help.
Disagree with it yes if you want.
Personally I read it as us helping out a bloke, who was a top defender to give him experience.
Hoping he can teach our boys some defensive skills.
I agree with you. I said my piece at start given reference to Les ad for me that was leading it in certain direction but don’t think that warrants attention Hits has got in response. Aside from that I actually think it’s a worthy thread about is it worth giving Campbell, what is in all intents and purposes coaching experience, do we benefit and what does he bring to the table!! Could also ask has he played part in us looking better at back
There is loads to talk and debate with regards his arrival so it’s worthy Thread and glad Hits raised. If my initial response snowballed it apologies and also apologies to Hits
Why so much division between posters on here? I get the views from both sides of the divide but what I don't get is the OTT digging out over what, to me, seems relatively minor.

I never really picked up on division other then Ollie, that aside don’t personally think there is pattern or conformity on views and people jump about.
People have dug their trenches over ollie and will not get out, there appears to be no no mans land your pro or your against stick your head up, either side, and you get shot at. He’s become a very devisive character amongst fanbase and what I think was an appointment to unite fans has in fact divided them

I think the manager issue alone has been responsible for creating a lot more splits in the fanbase. Under Hughes, JFH, Redknapp and Ramsey it was always quite clear when the tide had swung amongst the fans, which resulted in them not lasting much longer. With Holloway I sense the fans are a lot more divided on the issue, which can often spill over into in-fighting sadly. Ollie seems very marmite-esque IMO.
If QPR continue to improve sufficiently to acquit themselves well over the rest of the season and give us hope for a challenge for a top 6 place next season, then can I live with IH as manager regardless of my individual take on his ability as a manager?
It's got to be "YES". My overall priority is the success of the club, no matter who that success is ultimately due to.
Although I will reserve judgement to who it is actually down to.

Well said I've been slagged of as an Ollie fan for saying exactly this

Did wonder myself too, but i don't know how long he has been with us

Um ...I'd like to announce Ollie has actually gone up in my estimation since the forest debacle,
and that is from someone who was fervently for him to be dragged behind horses outta town.
Listened to the loftcast that gator posted and thought it was quite encouraging ..........oh **** what've i done?

Good post and totally agree.
RE: Wests post about trenches and being one side or another and no no mans land, I am no mans land. Didn't really want him back but was willing to sit back and see what happened.
Didn't feel the need to insult him at every turn and at the same time found very little to congratulate him on.
As stated previously, I wanted to enjoy the debate from both sides, but for the most part, the anti Ollie brigade was always shouting louder and longer than the pro Ollie brigade, which in turn put some people off from posting.
I must admit that I am very happy with seeing some youth shine and like most, I believe the future isn't looking too terrible.

Listen again. His pathos is cringingly orchestrated or a genuine cause for concern. His train of thought is harder to follow than a game of wack-a-mole.
He was being fed cartridges for his shotgun to shoot fish in a barrel. It was a disgusting interview entirely designed to appease fans' concerns and condescending in the extreme.
