This ref has history with QPR as reported before the game by The Godfather.

Just plain ridiculous had a sh1te game and is clearly out of his depth in the CCC. Just shows how much the league are struggling for refs if this is the best the division can offer!!!:cry::waaaht:

Anyone ever seen someone booked for taking a free kick too quick.

End of the day, minutes earlier Reading took free kick quickly and no booking. It was a shocking decision
When I finally stopped swearing, words failed me.

Obviously not too well, as it was Crouchy who got sent off for that incident not Carlisle

I'll get stick for this BUT I think the ref was 100% right. It's a stupid law but all he did was applied it correctly. Buzz clearly asked for a wall of 10 yards and the ref told them then to wait for the WHISTLE. Watson was stupid in trying to then take the free kick quickly and must hold his hands up. He was booked for ungentlemanly conduct/cheating. This however is another one of those pathetic situations where ref's should apply common sense. Same as when a player who is already on a yellow card decides to celebrate scoring a screamer by taking his top or hugging the supporters and gets his marching orders for a 2nd booking.

The crowd did rare up when in the 2nd half their central defender did something similar in taking a quick free kick, however that was a slightly different scenario because he never asked for a wall of 10 yards.

It immediately reminded me of brum and attwell almost one year ago, with the fans uniting and roaring the team on. brilliant. by the way, the noise factor is definitely going up, well done to the guys in x block. even SAR is slowly getting into it, bout time!

Most refs are under pressure to even it up, especially if you just sent off a player from the home team , every tackle your reminded of the red card.

Thing is Daz..... the ref did not hold his whistle up to indicate that the play may not recommence until he's blown it... so, wholly wrong descision.. but not worth appealing coz were not Manure or Chelski

IMO Watson was an idiot. You could clearly see the ref hold his whistle up and say "wait". Buz had asked for the wall to be correctly 10 yards back. Watson still took the kick. Whether he heard/saw it or not is irrelevant. If so, Buz should have told him. A really stupid and unnecessary yellow.

Agree with Dazzer 100% - clear as day on the highlights

Hall has a massive history with us and shouldn't be allowed to Ref anymore of our games ...it's becoming a bit of a joke!

Off the top of my head:

Crewe Home - sent 2 Rangers off
Preston Away - seem to remember some sort of debacle with giving them 2 pens after disallowing one of their goals!
Northampton Away - sent Evatt off
Orient Home - gave Orient a Pen
Reading Home - sends Watson off for taking a free-kick to quickly

Worst kind of Ref in my opinion ...a little Hitler with absolutely no common sense!

If the events went as Dazza has mentioned- as stupid a rule as it is, then the booking was correct.

Its the same for the defending side...another stupid rule where the player taking the free kick runs up and slams it against the defender who is walking back slowly in order to get him booked. If the ref told QPR not to take it and Watson did....only one option avaliable...But if the ref did not indicate thus...then booking was wrong.

I think you'll find he did fella. Buzz asked for the 10 yards and Watson then took it quick. He was the fool and not the ref. We all moan at ref's when they get things wrong. IMO he was 100% spot on here.
