  • Don't Think I Ever Witnessed Worse Sending Off

In the history of watching rangers?/

Anyone ever seen someone booked for taking a free kick too quick.

End of the day, minutes earlier Reading took free kick quickly and no booking. It was a shocking decision

          Clarke Carlisle, against Crewe

Gave away a free kick, got booked

walking away Crewe player kicks the ball against him

Ref books him again and sends him off.

          Guess who the ref was?

I can remember Derby having two players sent off at LR (Charlie George and maybe Bruce Rioch?) for not being allowed to take a free kick, and subsequently verbally abusing the ref.

Yeah that was the funniest sendings off I ever saw. Rioch was booked and kept on yapping at the ref who red carded him, Charlie George then booted the ball straight out of the ground (protesting that he was just taking the free kick quickly lol) and got sent off too.......
The Derby Manager went absolutely mental in the dugout. Remember who it was? Yup, our old friend Tommy Docherty.

                            happens very often

its dissent in the eyes of the ref

although the ref needs to show a little common sense

                            very harsh imo

Was a pretty awful decision. Not a bookable offence, i hope he never refs another QPR match. I feel sorry for Watson, as it's another 2 matches that he's going to miss..
