This game proves that you cannot sell your best players and expect to succeed.

Reading are a shadow of last seasons side and could well go down this season.

Them and Keane's Ipswich going down will make me well happy.

As I frequently tell my (much younger) wife "there is no substitute for experience" and I take my hat off to John Gorman. There is no doubt that his vast experience is now being reflected in our style of play.

I believe that he has subtley changed the strategy on the pitch (with JM) and we are now playing to our (attacking) strengths and the players are blending and combining much better.

Did anyone else see him on the pitch beforehand practisng close control with Wayne Routledge. WRs feet were moving so quickly they were just a blur!!!!

I saw it too, great stuff from a managerial team building skill, belief and a winning mentality. The passing game which we started to see recently has developed into more movement off the ball, and players staying short to gather passes and keep possession.

Its not just the difference between now and the last time we played Reading...its the difference between now and last season. We are playing free flowing attacking foorball which with players like Routledge, Buzz and Tarrabt in the team can be devastating to the opposition...
