I'd have more downs than ups.

    • Never had a problem when I posted on lfw. They certainly wouldn't bizzarely pull me up for hating Chels cum like I have been on here.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Yes the league's poor but it's been like that for several years now. Every week it's possible to get any resukt against anyone. We have deserved to win most of the games we have won and overall have not been that bad at home. I'm no Olly supporter (although I like his love of the club) but I think we are about where we deserve to be.
I agree that our league position is probably a fair reflection of the season we've had mate. My point was there are just a lot of poor sides in this league this year. Burton, Sunderland, Hull, Barnsley and Birmingham are all awful. In fact, everyone from us and Forest downwards are poor sides. Can't remember a season in this league for a long while with so much dross at the bottom.

But I'll concede this is the first year in a very long while that I've been able to watch more or less every game, so maybe my opinion is skewed slightly.

Agreed. And it's not getting better, it's getting worse. For months there has been a logjam at the bottom of the league with six clubs on a point a game or less. That particular brotherhood has been expanded recently with Reading clocking in.

Why is a point a game so telling? In the 14 years of the Championship, only once has a club managed that poor level of form and not been relegated, because, of course, there were three other clubs who performed worse that season.

That is also why I am quite sanguine about our risk of relegation, and less impressed than I could be about how many points we've got and where we are in the table. If those clubs aren't getting points, it just makes it easier for the rest.

I had a record number of down arrows on LFW - not sure what the subject was, possibly Billy Bragg living in an expensive house.

Was it the one "Why Everyone Should Move To Wales"?

Hiya bud, fancy seeing you here!Wales is the UK's best kept secret - The Land That Time Forgot.
I don't get it,I kept getting down arrowed for the most innocuous of posts - one about Sue Perkins' glasses hit the floor.I'm a really nice guy actually and have never once uttered the C word....
What really hurt in comments about The Argument was the contention that Blobbers is 70.

                  The Land That Time Forgot?

Yeah, some-one just complained to me that the Welsh extension to the last Ice Age is interfering with their sex life!

No excuses for that where you are mate!Going to get me little shovel out now(ooer) and shift a bit of the white stuff - neighbours just phoned saying they're going to have a bit of a Drift Party, usual Blobbers tactic of looking busy coming up.

Hubs I did suss you though. What I meant was that you've never been a sportsman, always the clever kid but last pick on the playground. Just could see you wiping the mud off with a hanky. You can deny it but I think I'm spot on.

Hahaha, genuine LOL weare.... yeah, you see those stereotypes ain't always right mate. No mate, I was quite a scrapper on the pitch, maturing into an elegant midfield maestro in the Wilkins mode in later years... an ability sadly unrecognised by my school teachers.

To be honest your post about the people's cup got me thinking I'd really like to start playing football again.

If at all possible for you to do so, I would heartily recommend that you listen to the last caller before the 7:00 news on Radio 5 Live. An Arsenal fan.

I think it gives us an insight into what Hits might be like in a year or two if the idiot Holloway is still around.

                              Couldn't quite believe it.

Brights I was listening at 6.10. It was really amusing but stopped at 6.20 after the Fulham fan who made some good pts to ian wright. Can you put up a link please?
