Hang on isn't that exactly the role Luongo plays in? The problem with that role in our squad is that there's barely anyone making forward runs for Luongo to pass to.
Anyone digging out Goss is out of order, 6 appearances? You lot must have been great players/coaches. Give the boy a chance. Loan a good move for him, even if it is in Scotland.

its a double edged sword, if we sold him and he did well people would go mad, a loan move especially to a club like rangers is great for him and us, if he does well then great, we have another option in midfield and if he doesn't then its no loss. one things certain though, he wasnt gunna get a chance in our midfield anytime soon so this is a great chance to show what he can do

Fingers crossed he does. He will get a good chance there hopefully.

Who's digging him out? He hasn't shown anything in training that shows Ollie he should be picked ahead of our current midfielders, that's a fact. A loan move is a good option because he's still our player and it helps him develop his game, rather than sitting in our reserves, as the boy has undoubted talent. The issue is this being touted as the next Pirlo after one game nonsense. I don't see how any of that is digging him.out?

Not really mate, Carrick type sits in front of back four like that Fulham bloke who ran the show against us last season, and as Wilshere has been doing recently. Not looking to get forward.

Asin like derry, but can goss do the defending side al?

How could we know if he's not played? So far it looks like a completely pointless signing - spent more time on the pitch waving his new shirt at the crowd when he was announced.

That's Scowen's role then, surely? He stays back more often than not.
