Buzsackey / Rowlands will be taking free kicks when he comes back. Lets sign people who are established in this country. Foreign players have not worked for us this season.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Apart from one his free kicks have not been good and that clouds some peoples view of him as a player, my nephew included, but his general play is very good and I would like to see him here next season. If there is a genuine medical problem, I haven't noticed it, but go for pay for play or a one year deal.
      RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat

YOUNG foreign players, not established in their OWN countries, have not worked for us this season.
Lopez is an established Spanish player, at Real Mallorca and Racing Santander amongst others.
And don't just look at the free kicks -- his general play as a defensive midfielder who can start an attack from deep or the middle is what's impressive and important -- not one free kick. Not the same type of player as Buzz or Rowlands at all.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Another 5 games left yet if he gets back from injury that should tell us a lot more about him! Whether he can take a free kick or not is irrelevant, but I would imagine from reports and from his club history he is probably a step forward from Mahon and as a fre eevn as a squad player for next season would worth a punt!

He has not been exactly breathtaking for us - however he would be a good squad addition

Been our best central midfielder by a long distance.

Would rather have him than Miller.

Great shame in my view as much better than Mahon, but presumably our Gavin was cute enough to negotiate himself a long contract.

If we continue to play 5 in midfield then we potentially have:

Cook, Routledge, Buzsaky, Rowlands, Alberti, Ephraim, Vine, Leigertwood and Mahon who are all our own players. Add Miller and/or Lopez and thats 11 players which is probably three too many.
