You know he will be a world beater at his next club.it so written in the stars
Think he'll probably waste his career. Didn't take his chance when Liverpool loaned him a year or 2 back, did he?
Awful waste of talent. Still hate Harry for signing this guy. Given his links with Spurs, he clearly knew the guy had problems. Gotta wonder how big his brown envelope was?!!
Like every other big name signing in last five years held off committing himself to us until last possible moment in hope bigger club came in and when they never he signed for us. As soon as he stalled should have been told do one were not interested
Remember the photos from club to announce him never looked happy and that says it all
don't care where he goes tbh, i wish his mental health all the best but hope his career is dead. he sponged 40k a week off of us for nearly 4 years and acted like a complete idiot the entire time.

It's true ain't it?
We had a 2 or 3 year period where the vast majority of the signings we made were only here for the money. As a result, they were more often than not a let down. Hence players like Derry and Hill remained in the team, despite really being Championship players.
Oh how I'd love to wind back the clock and do it more sensibly. Burnley are a great example. Came up at the same time as us, didn't sign any big time charlies, put trust in a good young manager, and look where they are now. They've probably done it on a significantly smaller investment than our outlay as well!
