Assistant managers are there to do exactly as their title suggests, assist.

They usually give out the orders the manager wants given out. Take training sessions & run drills the manager would want & talk to players the manager has identified as the weak link in games.

It’s not the assistant we should be worried about I’m afraid.

Thinking about it have said it before but think Ollie would be a great assistant manager. Gees team up, great guy to have around the club. The ideal would be him as assistant and a more tactically astute manager. Won't happen but think of that kind of combination.
