I don't think that there's any fan now who doesn't believe that Jim Magilton has been a far better appointment than we thought. I couldn't stand the bloke before he came here (something to do with when Ipswich tonked us on Sky), but now I love him to bits. He's our Jimbo and he's done wonders for us since he came in.
He's turned the squad into a united, happy, and mentally stronger team. I think it's obvious what the players think of him. He's giving us what we want - attractive football, with a decent defensive quality to it at the same time.
There was a very brief, quiet rendition of 'Jim Magilton's Blue & White Army' on Saturday, but we can do much, much better than that - we are Rangers fans.
I know some results haven't gone our way and it wasn't a perfect start, but he's had to get the team playing his way - breaking Dowie/Sousa habits - and we did play many of those iffy-result games with some style.
I feel that Jim has done enough now to earn our respect, so let's get some decent volume into a song/chant for Jim tomorrow night. When he first comes out of the tunnel would be ideal, as a thank you for Saturday.
Come on U Rsssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
