We're doing things right finally. 150k is peanuts if he turns out to be Championship standard. Well worth the outlay.
Our best players are Freeman, Wzsolek, Scowen, Hall and Luongo. How much did they cost? Not 4m the lot i'd guess. Doing things right
Kevin Doyle and Shane Long didn't cost much when Reading bought them all those years ago, but they turned out alright.
I agree with Corbray, £150k is not a huge sum to pay when taking a gamble on this type of player and if 1 out of 10 turns out to be a gem, then that is a great return imo.
Interesting that hes a striker and at only £150,000, just seen on west ls that scowen could be doubtful tomorrow, that would be a very big blow for the cardiff game & we`ve 5 others injured!
Paul Smyth is a fantastic young talent in Irish League terms but the step up the the Championship even in terms of fitness is colossal so I wouldn't expect to see him play for QPR any time soon.
