Care to flesh out that statement for us all a bit bit Pete???

To be honest, I cannot divulge too much at the moment.

If we continue in this vain up until Christmas ( think we will), a sizeable budget has been pencilled in for January to get the team promoted. We are talking several million. It might mean getting rid of the deadwood and fringe players will actually loaned out very soon, but think everyone will be pleasantly surprised, as long as we maintain this level of performances.

Funnily enough one is from Base Soccer, you would be hard pressed to find a club without a player from Base. There web-site does not give the full extent of players and agents on there books, as they are a franchise.

The rumour season doesn't start till December

        Thanks Pete.

        Who represents Hooper???

Is the idea to tie up any players we have on loan or just hope to keep them on loan to the end of the season when we know what division we'll be playing in next yr?

It's from Pete's Pockets - I seem to remember he had rather deep one's in the Comic and doesn't he live in Chelsea with all the other Super Rich?!

You can hardly blame him for living in Chelsea rather than the Bush. I love the Rangers dearly but know where I wd rather live. Lived in Chelsea myself with my first job - had to be the last slum left in SW3...

Rumours indicate that someone else will be coming on board in the near future. There is also speculation around Flavio's position and two parties are believed to have shown an interest in his stake should it become available due to the FA.

The majority of the clubs day to day expenditure is covered mainly by Flavio, things like the wage bill and general club costs. Investments in players has mainly been fronted by Bernie with Amit & Co very close behind. Bernie has fronted the most money in total so far but by Xmas Flavio will then be the most out of pocket.

The above information is not taking into consideration the new loan covered by Flavio and Amit through Amula, but this money is due to be paid back.

I couldn't give a monkeys if the player is represented by Simon Cowell as long as he is good and at a fair price.

I worry about what funds we'll have available in January given what's going on in the boardroom. Would be great to have money to spend. Number one priority for me would be signing Watson on a permanent deal, followed by giving Buzsaky a new contract (runs out in less than a year) and then a quality striker like Hooper or Marlon King..

I think you'll find that we'll buy Watson and also I think they realise that we need to buy a couple of top strikers, so that sounds fine with me so long as we continue to play to this high standard I don't think there will be too many complaints.

Buzz "apparently" signed a new 3 year contract in the summer, according to Jack and others.I think we will sign Watson for about £2 million in january and we will need to spend the same on Hooper, who would be a good signing.

Long live the kiss of death!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

All depends on what "significant" means I guess. Watson £2m, Hooper or similar same kind of money. Then if we wanted to sign Simpson that has to be significantly north of a million and god alone knows for Tarabt. I know loans have worked really well for us but if we were to gain promotion and all these loan players just went back to their club we wd be faced with having to buy half a team.
