  • Booking fee.....

£3.50 on a £10.00 ticket for Brentford at home??? Taking the p iss. Charge £13.50 without a booking fee, you tight fisted cretins. It's the principle of the thing. No reputable organisation charges a f acking booking fee. Only crooked entertainment organisations. Such fees are to be outlawed. We ought be ashamed we have them. F ackwits.

I really don't care about the £3.50. I'd be happy with a £15 ticket price.

Think its even being done for the Grenfell tickets...

I suppose most wouldn't mind covering the fee for postage if unable to collect in advance, but it would a lot less than £3.50

It's put on the ST, Norths, so costs nothing. But the crooked agency QPR uses has to make its cut.

        That's even worse then

How can they justify that fee if its loaded onto a card

I know absolutely nothing about this so just guessing here, but as it is in addition to the ticket price I can only assume that the reason is to keep it clearly separated as some other organisation gets it as opposed to the club.

When it's for away tickets and they physically post them to you I don't mind so much, but when they're simply 'uploading' it to my season ticket it does grate slightly.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

can you still pay at the Box Office during the week, or do they still charge £3.50 even if you go in person?
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

To be fair its not just QPR- It is the way of the world these days -There are booking fees everywhere! hotels, Gigs travel, Sporting events , even plumbers and their call out charges, Cabbies charge you 2.10 just to get in their cab! before the wheels have even moved!

Could someone do a list of clubs from the 92 who dont charge a booking fee.
Would be interesting to see that.

Did a bit of research, it appears we are one of the most expensive with booking fees.

                            Heres why they are there.

The booking fee charged per ticket pays for the technology infrastructure, distribution network, credit/debit card processing services, merchant fees, telephone lines, labour and other costs associated with arranging and managing ticket inventory and servicing a ticket transaction.

We get a mention in this article bemoaning them.

A survey reveals that we resent forking out big fees to get a seat for an event, especially if we have to do most of the work ourselves
