Why do we get so little coverage?

On a couple of newspapers I've worked on I've made the point that if they could make the claim - to be advertised at every ground around the country - "this is the only newspaper that will give you a comprehensive report on every match played in all four divisions" it wd do really well. But instead sports pages are filled with "Fergie lashes ref"/ "Wenger rages at Benitez" rubbish that I suspect even supporters of those clubs don't bother reading it now.
The broadsheets are generally better but for a comprehensive report you often have to look on the web. The downside is these reports are often written by amateurs so there tend to be mistakes but still often good reading. Like the Godfather's reports on here for instance.

Up till about 4 years ago there were two publications on a Sunday - I believe the were FOOTBALL FIRST and FOOTBALL LEAGUE,that gave fanatasic reports and coverage of ALL football matches OUTSIDE the Prem including the Conference and lower leagues.Each Championship match was given about half a page which was great,because I don't know about you,but I really look forward to reading reports on the R's even though I was at the match 24 hours earlier.
