This is in no way a told you so thread, simply because, for all my happy clappiness, not even I expected that performance today. I expected a very cagey affair and would've taken a draw before the game.
Absolutely delighted with that entire performance. We restricted Reading to one clear chance in the first half, and one or 2 in the second. The only moan I have is about Nedum, his silly mistake early in the second half could've been very costly, but for a bloody world class save from Smithies. Other than that, I can't complain about any of them. Even Perch was good today. But highest praise for me goes to Freeman, Luongo, Scowen and Wszolek. Absolute mustard, the four of them. And also praise must be reserved for Ollie. He got the selection and tactics spot on today.
It's a long, long season, and anything can and probably will happen. But getting 3 points on the board against last season's playoff finalists, and putting in a performance like that to boot, is absolutely fantastic. Well done Rangers.
