Steward concern - need advice

basically i love going rangers but i worry that because of this steward thing.. and what happened to my mate yesterday got me thinking..

basically my mate and i was standing and singing like every1 else around us.. we saw the stewards saying sit down etc but people infront of us didnt sit and i didnt really think they was talking to us, so we wasnt going to.

we did NOTHING which warranted being spoken to let alone ejected. so we see a few are being asked to go. and just before adel scores.. steward came to our row and pointed at my general direction.. i didnt acknowledge it but my mate next to me did and said "what me?" the steward then nodded and my mate asked what for? the steward came down our row and said something along the lines of "i wanna speak to u downstairs" and wouldnt say anything like ur out.. so anyways my mate starts to walk and then this bloke comes rushing across says to the steward nah nah mate he's with me.as he does that the ST holder next to us pushes the steward out of the way of his son whos only 10 at best.

my mate then goes back to his seat and the steward lets it be. match goes on and every1 starts standing again yet towards end the guy who came across to say to the steward.. was being asked to leave by police.. we then saw him outside in handcuffs..

anyways my burning question is that im paranoid that because it was me who booked the tickets and my mate got asked to leave but didnt ill get something in post from rangers like a warning or possible ban..

can any1 here who stands in Q or R block what they would do if asked to sit down personally.. would u sit down or say nah and eventually be asked to leave?

yesterday the atmosphere was electric but the stewards who i know are only following orders.. nearly ended what was a great day for me and my mates.

If you want to stand then go and watch non-league football.Plenty of standing room there.

make sure the stewards are in possession of a sia badge otherwise they have less power than a lollipop lady.

god knows mate, wouldnt say they would bother taking down your seat number etc so wouldnt follow it up, usually only ask for your details if your going to get a ban i think.

As for the standing at non league, if they can do it , even some football league clubs allow standing, so why cant qpr?

look mate i know its hard to do if you dont know many people down the rangers but my advice is take no ****.its all about bottle,not yours ,theirs.try and stand your ground,there are plenty of fellas who will back you up.

so why arent the other 200 being chucked out aswell? im asking for advice on the situation not moaning.. has never happened to me before.. i dont wanna get banned i really enjoyed yesterday

clearly you were standing in R Block, Row U, seats 5 & 6, as you were directly behind me...

i've come to the conclusion that i'm going to continue to stand, but not make eye contact with the stewards.

what i WON'T do however, is give abuse to the stewards, tell them to f*ck off or whatever, as that's just asking for them to single you out. i think they were attempting to cherry pick the likely ring leaders or most vociferous abuse, so staying anonymous is my aim.

having said that, i expect to receive a letter in the post sometime this week...

where u the fella with glasses who i spoke to about us ****ing all over a team who are meant to be going up?

if not dont worry lol but yeh i like to stand where others stand i mean if people behind me was sitting down i would also sit down.. everybody i Q block stands - they got nothing.. we was anonymous yesterday in sence we only sang songs about rangers and watched the game.. didnt call anybody names or jumping up and down violently.. found it strange that we was "cherry picked" if u like.. there was a few further back who were alot more animated.

its all on cctv...if you are a ssn tkt holder they could trace you, i wouldn't contact club ie give details
as stewards may say you abused them = ban.

they did this in f block last yr, came up heavy handed, mouthed off and upset many..threw a few out ( steward heard to say , "to shut the others up")
then at h/t about 30 police had to intervene..all silly really.

this could turn nasty...and needless.

the cctv can zoom in, i know from experience....they can pinpoint you.
