QPR fell to a 1-0 defeat against Premier League side Bournemouth; but how did they get on in our full-time player ratings?
Alex Smithies – 7
Looked assured when called upon. Caught out by an excellent Ibe goal but recovered well making two or three excellent stops.
James Perch – 6
Well-shielded by the midfield meaning he wasn’t exposed. Struggled at centre back before being taken off.
Nedum Onuoha – 7
Fairly solid at the back and covered well when called upon.
Joel Lynch – 7
Looked dominant alongside Onuoha. Handled Josh King well for large spells before being subbed at half time.
Jack Robinson – 6
Was caused some issues by Jordan Ibe cutting in onto his left foot from the right flank leading to a goal.
Massimo Luongo – 8
A class above. Showcased his ability in a deep role and also moving forward. His ability to see a pass could be a real plus.
Josh Scowen – 8
Slotted in effortlessly. Looks a quality player who is ready to hit the ground running next week.
Pawel Wszolek – 6
A little slow at picking a pass but covered James Perch well on the right side. Feel he just needs minutes under his belt.
Luke Freeman – 7
Very lively first half. A real creative force who did excellently to find space between Bournemouth’s defence and midfield.
Conor Washington – 6
Looked lively as he buzzed around Smith. Only had one clear chance but dragged it wide.
Matt Smith – 7
Looked a real threat in the air. Had two decent chances which he should have done better with.
QPR Subs:
Darnell Furlong- 6
Pushed forward well on the right flank
Jamie Mackie – 6
Worked hard but failed to make a real impact on the game.
Ryan Manning – 6
Filled in at left back. Coped well enough but struggled with the pace of Jordan Ibe.
Ariel Borysiuk – 7
Extremely solid in front of the defence. Intercepted well and comfortable with the ball
Sean Goss – 7
Introduced as a centre-back. Coped well with what was thrown at him.
Idrissa Sylla – 7
Held the ball up well after his introduction.
Yeni Ngbakoto – 7
Excellent delivery often caused panic on the opposition’s box. However his shooting from range often left a lot to be desired.
Michael Petrasso – 6
Failed to make a real impact on the game.
Was surprised by luongos rating tbh, yes he can carry the ball well going forward but seeing a pass? hes useless at seeing and executing one in my eyes, whats others views, mind you think hes been done to death on here
