Ah perhaps thats the reason :(
But that's the biggest point that so many people miss, and get wrong.

For most QPR supporters that aren't huge fans of "Flavs Way"... it's actually got nothing to do with what's happened in F1. It's how he's carried on at QPR FC, his attitude to certain things (including fans), and his past interference with football matters.
If he knocks all that on the head, and learns from his mistakes at QPR... then he is ok by me, and can do whatever the f*** he wants in other sports/business.
The F1 stuff is just a sideshow, but it's put his future at QPR in doubt, and led to all these debates about him.

If the F1 episode hadn't happened, you wouldn't have all these debates/rows about him, because they would be pointless.

I don't give two hoots if Briatore stays or goes, its the principal of setting up rights and responsibilities, saying how stringent they are and then not enforcing them I cant stand.

The facts are Renault accepted 100% what was alleged in crashgate and chose not contest the charge. Briatore accepted his part in crashgate and stated when he resigned he was doing so to protect the workers and will not not appeal.
