Petrasso had a very good match last night as the starting RB in a back 4 again, this against a good Costa Rica side in the 2nd group match of the Gold Cup, solid defensively and a threat going forward, he helped set up Canada's goal in a 1-1 draw!

Perhaps he can play the position for QPR then

I thought he was predominantly left footed? Hence having been played previously as a left winger?

Right footed, but his preferred position is left wing I believe.

If he's doing a job at right back for Canada, that's pretty interesting. Hasn't really cut it in attacking roles at first team level, has he? Perhaps full back is a better position for him?

Hasn`t he struggled with injuries the last few seasons?

He has had a couple really bad injuries to recover from, it's good to see him healthy and getting some quality matches in!

Lucky he's not vying for the first team.

Your usual positive spin on his achievement.

Not convinced mate. I think there is a player in there. Just needs an arm round him and a run of games.

Agree that if we ain't gonna use him, we should move him on though. 22 years old now and been on the fringes for 3 or 4 seasons.

22 mate and not even getting close to match day squad. He needs to go for his own ambitions let alone ours. He's not going to break in at ours
