In fact, get rid. Him rejecting a contract means he doesn't want to play for QPR. So get a few mill out of Everton for him, stick a sell on clause in there, and use the money for a couple of decent defenders.Last edited by Ginger Ninja; 05-06-2017, 03:56 PM.Top Scorers 2018/2019

We either sell him now for what everton offer us or lose him to tribunal in summer. Everton wont pay over the odds now that this is the situation.
Of course, Bowler could end up being not so good and QPR get a pittance.
I am not sure what Everton have offered but it seems it is worth up to £3m , so that could be £1.5m initial payment which in all honesty is not that great anyway.

Originally posted by stanistheman View PostIt would be a gamble, but they could turn the offer down and actually put Bowler in the team next season in the hope that he has a great season like Dembele and Sessagnon did for Fulham and then if he leaves the tribunal could easily set a £4m initial payment with add ons a d a sell on fee.

Originally posted by Hove Ranger View PostSo you're suggesting keep him for 1 season and hope the tribunal pays 4 mill? Good luck with that
The tribunal system was set up to protect clubs from spending a fortune developing a player just to have him poached by a bigger club just before they have realised their full potential. The fact that we picked Bowler up for free a year ago means that we really haven't invested much in him at all, and the tribunal will see that.
If he doesn't want to extend and Everton have made a fair offer then we'd be bonkers not to accept!
