  • Another Long Drawn Season

Given the increasingly competitive nature, promotion looks improbable. Huddersfield and Reading defied the odds with their new managers, David Wagner giving a nod to Ian Holloway who predicted Huddersfield for the drop. Given 'Ollie will be in the job for at least another five months and Ferdinand's 'sell to buy' policy, how do you think the club could challenge for the top half? What free agency deals should the club look to make? Who should go to pave the way for new signings?

There must be an alternative to a young foreign coach with determined players plucked from European second tier sides.

What worries me is how transfers are handled under Les bringing in players who are not awilling to work for their money with no home work on their back ground ie JET and Morrison and others have contributed to the waste of the parachute payment also late signings of foreign players with season under way needing time to catch up with the rest of the squad the two Polish lads , how many games did they play ? Another waste of money not their fault but somebody's holds the blame for more waste of the parachute
Now if Penrice is going look at potential deals investigate their characters recommend we sign the players what the hell do we need a dof for

There is always an alternative its just that were so short sighted in our approach to pretty much everything that we cant see beyond our noses. yes some will say we picked JFH who wasn't an ex or Les F mate but realistically Middlesborough took a gamble with Karanka Huddersfield with Wagner even Reading on Stam, Ollie may of given his all as a player but rose tinted glasses aside he's a casualty waiting to happen next season
