Who worried before the game, when they saw the centre midfield pairing?

Pete: I'll be totally honest, my comments before the game on here "We should allways aim for 3 points at home, but what with our current injuries i would be happy with a point, and if we get 3 i'll be delighted"....Near enough my exact comments....

Im truely delighted!! Really i am, i said mahon was too slow and i was nervous for faurlin, I havent got anythign against mahon but imo he is to slow, but today he was fantastic, he proved me wrong, and he proved he has a part to play...
Faurlin i was just nervous because he was playing alonside what i would consider a weaker partner in cm in Mahon....

But, Both were totally brilliant, Mahon bossed it and faurlin stepped up to the plate, ive liked the look of him, but i was just a little nervous, i guesss i had preconseptions he wouldnt be able to do it, he did and he earnt his place in the starting 11....

Another pleaseing thing was the grit, determination, and effort they and the rest of the team showed, taarabt for instance at one point battled on the floor when it seemed he had lost control he still managed to keep possesion and pass the ball...

Everyone today pure class....

Before Legs and mahon could play in the middle and know they would not be replaced, the thing is I actually feel sorry for Mahon. You have to replace him with Watson this Tuesday.

Yeah you do, watson is total quality! Some people are just obvious starters...watson is one of them, you dont loan a prem class midfielders and put them on the bench....

Watson is purely top class... He must start however harsh it may be on other players...

Unfortunatly players feelings come 2nd, our midfield did fantastic today but watson really makes us tick.

you must have been watching a different game to me.... as the game i was watching was not 4-1-4-1 with Mahon in front of the back four.....

btw i watched qpr totally outplay preston.... a 4-4-2 with Faurlin as a the holding midfielder taking the ball from our defenders and feeding our attacking players, with Routledge given license to roam upfront and drop deep when needed!!

Many said we had two many midfielders, well Faurlin and MAhon were the only ones fit/eligible today.

Take one of those out, we would really have been struggling to have two centre midfielders

Both players were terrific today and should keep their places for tuesday....... they will know if they dont perform watson will be on straight away!

Competition for players is very very healthy!!!!!! Is L'wood back for Tuesday..... if so more competition for CM and RB!

ive always said mahon is good when we need him and can do a job, point proved today. hasnt started a match in weeks and comes in and plays like that, true professional.

faurlin is finding his feet and games like today can only do him good and we wont have seen his best yet.

but tbh before the game, i thought we was going to go home disappointed
