Although I'm not "blown away" by this particular signing Ollie did state in his last interview that we need to find different ways of winning a game and that to do that you need different types of players.
Can see Smith and Washington play that "big man small man" type striking role that we might need at home to break down a stubborn defence and Sylla with runners to hit teams on the break for away games.Tony Fernandes Blue N White Army

My concern with this is that Olly still doesn't really know how he wants to set up when we're not playing high press counter (like at Reading).
Olly's greatest sucess was 4-3-3, that's very different from you traditional two up top game. It also implies faith in a Smith / CW combo.......
Agree with Ginge re time, he's here so no point in anything other than getting behind him, but I think the 9/20 FFC stat is wrong. I make it 51 in all but let's not quibble.
