Ward is also out of contract in the summer so if Rotherham don't play ball we should just tap him up for a bosman in the summer

Sky sources understand Rotherham have turned down a bid of over £2m for striker Danny Ward from an unnamed Championship club.
Meanwhile, QPR had a second bid rejected for Ward. We understand the second bid was £1.5m, having previously offered £1.3m.

we will be better off saving our money and if he wants to join us, sign him on a pre contract for nothing.nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

His contact expires in the summer.
Austin was in the same boat and sold for £4m, so how is Ward worth more than half that fee.
Move on to another target I.e.. Taylor.

This boy is a trier and always puts in a shift but f**k me he is not worth anything more then 1m tops especially with only a few months left on his contract, we haven't got much money to spend so we need to spend wisely so move on to the next target and forget him. I also think that clubs don't believe that we won't pay over the odds like before so we should use this as a statement and show we are no mugs anymore.

Staggered we've bid £1.5m for him when his contact is up in the summer. The lad isn't worth that amount anyway but given he's got 6 months left, anything over £500k is ridiculous.
Can't believe we're persisting with this deal when there are far better options for less money!

Know very little about this player but read Rotherham have the option of extending his contract by another year so in practise he has 17 months left.
Hence why we can't sign him on a pre contract agreement and are having to bid significant money
