Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

A confident, forward thinking manager would get Eze back after Christmas and have a long look at some of our other youngsters. They couldn't do any worse imo.

think its best for him to stay there tbh. hes in safe hands with gareth and the wycombe fans are saying hes the most talented player they've seen in years but thats only league 2 remember. hes only 19 and right now is playing with confidence there which is only gunna aid in his development. he'd end up coming back here and having to fight with mackie, conor, sylla, wheeler, smith just to get on the pitch. right now hes getting gurrenteed game time at wycombe and is enjoying being there, it'd be mad bringing him back in jan when we all know that the step up from league 2 to the championship is a big step to take, look at bright and wheeler for example. its about nurturing players to the best of their ability

At 19 or younger people have played for England (all of the top six clubs in the country have blooded younger players in the last five years). And we don't have the luxury of farming talent out - we're supposed to be a development club.
The big problem is that you need a forward thinking boss. Ollie likes to portray himself in that light. The reality is different.

Originally posted by corbray View Postif hes called back we'd just get a doughty/furlong situation from last season all over again, he'd get played out of position in a struggling side whilst being well down the pecking order. we all know ollie would favour smith, conor and defo mackie over eze. hes excelling at wycombe and it'll only do us a favour for the future coz he'll be getting regular game time in an easy league. championship might be too big a step for him right away, all it takes is a few bad games from him and we'd all turn on him and question why he was called back so quickly. heck, if wheeler, a guy who contributed to 30 goals last season from the wing in league 2 can't/won't get in our side then i dont see how eze will
Would destroy him and he would end up playing pub football like so many before him.
P.S i wonder if Washingrot & Crapie would score 3 goals in league 2?Last edited by Kevin Mcleod; 27-11-2017, 03:01 PM.
