Excuse me if this sounds a bit stupid but.......How do we actually know LF is calling the shots. He may be looking over the recruitment of players but how do we know he isn't acting on the boards say so. For all we know the board may have said to LF that he HAS to do it all on a very strict budget and that although the owners are still very rich people they may not be willing to dip into their pockets like they used to and that LF is just following orders given to him.

There's no "for all we know" about it. You are correct as LF & LH are on record as saying that.

Agree with the original post, this team is so poor, even the players who are at times decent (Luongo, Smithies) are prone to stupid errors as witnessed vs Brighton, unless a miracle happens with some quality additions this team is going down and there is not a manager in the game that can save us, watch the matches, these players are utter crap and whoever brought them in is responsible!

We did this to ourselves, we tried building a Championship squad from League 1 players, proven mediocrity/shite and washed up PL players who didn't want to be here. Then we employed Holloway, who is a motivator but nothing else.

The reality is since relegation form the Prem TF & whoever else owns us has looked uninterested and/or unwilling to invest the required amount. And they've put too much faith in the ex-Spurs lot. And as ever our infrastructure is completely amateur. If they're not careful it could get real bad.

We have a good enough squad for a top 10 finish in this division.

Can't have a top 10 finish if you have no goalscorers in your squad.
