Maids, Ollie done a brilliant job and I can remember going to a pre season gamexv celtic with 4 players on the books and the rest as trialists. No disservice just not my first choice and that is not his fault in any shape or form and he will get my 100% backing while manager. I think the board have missed a trick and will be very interested to see how they react if things do not go as planned?

You guys are doing Ollie a massive disservice! What he done for QPR in that period was nothing short of a miracle. The club was in dire straights and he rebuilt the squad on pennies and managed to get us back up. Some of the best moments of my life following QPR were around that time.
We scored goals and had good players like Shittu, Carlisle, Rowlands, Bircham, langley, Ainsworth, gallen and furlong. quality times. Got us promoted from league 1 and finished 11th in the championship. Bloody good work and the football was entertaining at times too.

What about relegation down to League 1. Or do we blame that all on the players.
IIRC QPR had about 8-10 fixtures (Many at home, against sides below or just above them and lost all but 1 of them to finish 23rd.

That was not Ollie's fault! He inherited a complete farce from the previous manager and had little time to turn it around! Ridiculous to suggest that relegation was his fault!

To me it is a backward step, but will be delighted to be left with humble pie to eat (pethaps like Lineker was on the news that Ranieri was appointed Leicester's manager).

The team wasnt great, but neither were those of the teams above them like Grimsby, Huddersfield Portsmouth or even Stockport.
So dont tell me it was 100% not his fault.
He had about 15 games in charge and won perhaps 1 of them (at home to Tranmere who finished bottom).

Yes, it was.
And I agree the team he built on peanuts wasnt great, but as I said, the other team near the bottom were ordinary too. There was about 6 points between Stocport in 23rd and the team in about 14th place.
Only Tranmere were adrift at the bottom.
