Cardiff 2-0 up. Warnock definitely knows his stuff in this league.

And he drew with Sheffield Weds (although it was at Cardiff).

"Hopefully Neil Warnock and Kenny Jackett no longer being freely available will calm the rabid hunger of some for yet more sweeping change, though I suspect when the results inevitably take a dip again – potentially starting tomorrow – we’ll just have that weird thing where QPR fans delight in the results of Cardiff and Rotherham making us look bad (and, presumably, them right, which one suspects is what really matters)." - http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footbal...rs/news/44127/

The predictable nature of fans never ceases to amaze.

Hahahhaha I don't even understand the Kenny Jackett obsession as he has only done well in League One which apparently isn't good enough when it is JFH.

Not that i want him but Kenny jacket has managed in the championship too. The clueless clown had less than 6 months in league 1.

Fans are automatically going to talk about Warnock. Since he took over at Cardiff they have 7 points in three games, in the previous 11 games they got 9 points.

Warnocks a dude, proper old skool!! Cant help but love the man for what he achieved here, more so under the circumstances. Easily 1 of my favourite rangers managers. And because of this I alway have an natural want for him to do well...... But no matter whos in charge I wish for nothing more than failer and heartache for that horrible, carntish, rechid welsh club!
                    SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

The man has picked up 7 points in 3 games and gave the whole club belief again. Only natural people want him to return as he is the best man for the job in the championship.

What was predictable was that Warnock was more likely to be successful at this level than JFH.

What's predictable is people forgetting what our goals are. Do we want a short term fix? Are we in need of one? The answer, is no. We need a long term solution. That is not Warnock. It is more likely to be Jimmy than Warnock.

But there is no evidence that Jimmy is any kind of solution, and there was no evidence at the time of his appointment. He may be, and Long term is great in theory, but long term mediocrity may not be so tasty. Jimmy's appointment was a punt, like so many of the appointments TF has been associated with in his massively undistinguished sporting career. It did not appear to be particularly logical given the stated criteria at the time.

Warnock didn't have any interest in the QPR job as his wife had cancer. 3 months later the Rotherham.job came up and his wife saw how much he wanted to try and missed it so they worked out a scenario so he could be at home as much as possible with his wife. Rotherham is much closer to their city and where I imagine all his wife's support is outside of Neil. This summer he still didn't sign on to a club, he said he didn't want to stay at Rotherham because it would have been for the wrong reasons which I assume means near home and getting paid but not for the best of the club. This is why over and over again I have said he is no longer a long term.manager because he isn't. He has other priorities. And we need long term, we don't need to just bring in a mix of PL rejects to shoot up the table and then ultimately drop back down. We rightfully haven't even considered getting rid of Jimmy so all this talk of another manager is futile.

Right, because Harry Redknapp was a punt, Mark Hughes was a punt. We've gone with 2 established names and one punt in Chris Ramsey, and we stuck with the established names for longer than they should have perhaps stayed and gave the punt around 6 months before he got out of the job. Now we finally have a manager who can be a logical long term solution (Young, good playing history and earned respect, clear vision of what he wants, high potential signings in general and he's reduced the wage bill while maintaining overall quality of players). The stated criteria is all you talk about, but you openly ignore the legitimate validation to the change in goal, which is the reduction in the wage bill and the shortening of the purse strings brought in by Hoos. The club is not going to try and yoyo, it's going to build. It's going to use it's academy, it's going to encourage growth and mutual development and to me, JFH stands for that vision, so long as we stand with him.
