We repeat the process until we get a corner or free-kick most of the time

To be fair, that could be said about almost all Championship sides outside the top 5.

Average sides and we are the most average of them all.

Championship sides outside the top 5 create chances and at least spread a little bit of excitement.

We're average under JFH - Applied properly, we wouldn't be IMO.

Maybe but I would bet most create as much/little as we do.

IMO I've seen nothing from anyone to suggest we are above average. Been bog standard since we haven't had a proper goalscorer.

i Agree - On paper we have the makings of a good team but playing with such negativity and playing players in the wrong position has sucked any creativity out of the side.

Not sure there was that much creativity to start with

Slow build up play fine but not for 90mins. Midfield so deep I swear Henry was in the school end for part of the game. Much as we like Shopido he struggles when starting but a good sub. Sorry if this is blasphemy but
would like to see Chery and Poulter rested and Sylla and Washington up front. Also Luongo and Boryborrocks in midfield, not auxillary centre backs, and given permission to pass, not hoik, the ball forward.

TBH it reminds me a bit of the Paulo Sousa days, when he just used to set up not to lose rather than win, Can't even remember how many mind numbingly 0-0 draws we saw under him.
Another point but didn't JFH said that one of the reasons he got rid of Faurlin was because he wanted to create a pressing and energy team??? That has worked well hasn't it

Maybe Faurlin was too creative and his passing too accurate.

Ale obviously passed the ball forward too much for JFHs liking!!!

We already have...................6-0 at home and we have not progressed one jot from that embarrassment!

Shall we get back on topic as we know some people don't like to deviate?

Passing the ball along the back four to lump it up to Polter, who at best may win a flick on but certainly can't hold it up which will go straight to their keeper and now we are defending again. Sylla would be the better option if that's the way we are going to play. If JFH wants Polter to flick it on, play Washington up with him so he can run on to it.

What has annoyed me is declaring Chery is basically un-droppable. JFH said something like "he was player of the month how can i drop him? and that's his best position so I have to play him there."

Some people enjoy watching Barton try a Hollywood ball and over hitting it, some enjoy watching Faurlin play the same ball with pin point accuracy, and others enjoy Henry keeping it simple and retaining possession (and f*cking it up occasionally). We all like different things. For the record, I think the football is sh*t but there's no point trying to change people's mind if they are enjoying something?
