Nas, I will tell you a fact at every level of football, If you score more goals than the other team you win the game and if you do that reguarly then you will pick up points. You do not pick up points by " tend to be how things work out for teams midtable and above". What a #### poor excuse you have churned out.

He should be able to change the course of a match, he should be able to give the team a good half time talk so that they come out in the second half playing with more enthusiasm. I don't think he does this and am not sure if he is able to. Perhaps he talks to the players in a different way, but I get the impression that he doesn't encourage them to play their own game and they are scared of making mistakes. If this is tactical, then it's not something I really want to watch."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

I talk about the idea of scoring more or conceding less and which produces better results."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
