I agree, but I don't think JFH wants that.....or even knows what his best position is.

As I said before, I can't take you seriously when you try covering for a mistake you make by putting it in your point. I'm not here to convince you about things, especially since all you want to do is find new ways to complain and try and disprove things. I've got my own thread in my own section where I backed Luongo weeks ago and I will continue to because every time I watch this guy, I'm amazed by what he does for someone of his frame.

He's fast when tracking a runner and somehow manages to get his body into position to make a perfect tackle when he's behind the opposition player on the ball. He wins everything in the air despite being tiny, he's so aggressive in the tackle and yet he looks like our own little iniesta when he's on the ball. And that's not just against fulham. He does that every week, people just don't pay much attention because he doesn't try and do the whole goalscorer from CM thing. He's comfortable doing a job defensively, running forward with the ball and releasing it to one of 4 in front of him to do the job.

The stats have proven that, just as I've displayed on this thread (but you choose to ignore because all you care about is man of the match performances). Well, right now, he's our highest rated player on whoscored.com and he was our second highest rated last year overall, but playing as a CM last year, he was by quite a distance our highest rated and even more so, he was the highest rated centre mid in the league last season.

People expect him to be a different player than the one he is because people always want something different to what they actually have in front of them. It always happens, especially here. But for me, he does a phenomenal job in that role and is IMO the best midfielder in this league. It's not your opinion, nor is it anyone else's most likely, but it's mine.

I don't need all the rubbish I just want you to justify as in your statement and I quote that" he's the best midfielder in the championship" (stats) I wasn't trying to cover up anything as I said he was anonymous in that game as he'd been in others meaning non existent in other games he's played, obviously you cant grasp irony , as I said he's a talented lad but Saturday was the first time ever he really stamped himself on a game, so finding it hard to see where evidence is coming from with regard your statement, evidence as your the stat man

I've listed all the stats on this thread previously and (for everyone else's sake) I'm not going to do it again just because you can't be bothered to look through the thread to find the justification.

No more distant than some of the rubbish we've seen. People on here don't agree where he should play so my opinion is as valid as anyone's.

He isn't even the best midfielder at our club let alone the league. As well as Mass played Saturday, Parker still pulled the strings in midfield. Ran the game. Stats can't really show you influence and dictation, you just have to watch. Blessing to be fair when he went off.

Mass wouldn't even get into people's top 10 midfielders in this league. Has the potential for sure to be a top player at this level but long way off yet.

If the day ever arrives that our midfield are so dominant that we create loads and protect the defence better, then that may be the time to start bigging him up.

Best midfielder in the division? You're having a laugh Nas.
