The evidence for that is there for all to see. In other words his probity, his credibility, is being called into question and rightly so.

I think Hoos is being mendacious with his response when asked why a suspension was not imposed pending an investigation. Suspension would have been fairer to all parties. Instead of which, watch the pressure build.
Used a few words there that I don't really understand but the top paragraph I totally agree with!

"mendacious" means lying, untruthful, dishonest, insincere etc.

      Example:

JFH says we will "press the opposition", "start on the front foot" and various other soundbites.

Reality is the negative, safety first, mind numbingly boring excuse for what we grew up to know as "football".

I had just turned 8 when I started watching Rangers in 1971. Not surprisingly, I wanted to come again.

If I was 8 today and had been taken to see us play Preston and Blackburn, I'd have told my sister where to go.

Agree with that and pleased to hear the club want to listen to the whole dialog first.

Either it will make JFH look bad or the Telegraph.

Really like Hoos in that video, very sensible. Also same said for Les tbf, not as evil as some want him to be..... As for JFH, like Hoos rightly says need to see absolutely everything before makeing a decision.... Pretty much everyone saying he needs to go now because of this. But would be interesting to know those same peoples views if we were say top of the league.... We need to deal with this properly and professionally and not be influenced by past results/performances, as that is a separate matter (and for what its worth IMO is a work in process and needs time) And thats what Hoos and Les are doing, taking a step back and looking into this propery without any influence of other matters (recent results/performances) that have nothing to do with this matter..... if JFH is to be sacked because of this, then fine as long as its for this and nothing else!.. imo.
          SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Stanley I don't know if Les anything other than worried about further embarrassment for the the club at the hands of the fans on Saturday

Unless it can be proved that the story is a total fabrication JFH's reputation is tarnished and I can't see anybody ever really trusting him again. If nothing else he is guilty of arranging to receive payment under the table whether it be for a speech or anything else.

One thing the club can change in future is that if any of their employees want to do work outside of the club (speeches etc.) they need to get permission from the club first. There is no reason for the club not to allow this provided the work is bone fide.

We should really be doing the same!
Allardyce resigned. I think if JFH really cared about our Club he should do the same. Can't see it happening though.

Allardyce was told to resign in order to preserve some dignity. He knew he was bag to rights and as such, he did what he was told.

Jimmy is an idiot. I have not at any stage got on his back over results as there was a part of me that thought he might turn it around with time. This however is a different matter. I don't care about waiting for absolute truth to come out. I've seen enough to know that this is a guy we should not have at the club and I very much doubt anything will come out in the wash to convince me otherwise!

Not even a comparison between the two.

Big Sam was on camera advising how to get round rules and also how to take money from the FA in the process.

JFH was negotiating a fee for himself at no cost to QPR whatsoever.

Like I've said numerous times, greedy? Maybe, but so is 99% of people in the game. Doesn't make them bent.

You can't do someone for what you think MIGHT have happened.

So you think it's just normal to try to negotiate 55 grand to go and speak at an event? To put things into perspective, that is more than double than what you'd expect to pay for even the most saught after speakers from the sporting world. Market rate for someone of Jimmy's calibre is probably less than 5k.

He was negotiating a large sum of money to do something bent and it is so obvious! I can't believe that you and a few others on here can't see it and I can't believe we are going into day 3 of this media circus and Jimmy is still reporting to work as normal. It's an utter joke!

                          • We have a team of good players to be proud of, and there are those who want 2 and 2 to make 5 because they haven't got any patience, so are jumping all over this to out him. I hope the club make a decision on this before Saturday, as any dissent tomorrow could be harmful to the result, and what a coup for Fulham fans to see us falling out over this at their place. We should be rallying around the team tomorrow, not showing ourselves up.

                            • Trust me I get your frustration Tarbie and I completely agree it looks dodgy, and probably was but you seem to be missing my point. You cannot sack someone for an opinion. He legally hasn't done anything wrong from what I can see.

Please also remember I want him gone as QPR manager ASAP for footballing reasons alone.

So get rid of him and work out whether we need to pay him up for his 1 year contract or not when the full investigation is finished. His position is so clearly untenable now, I don't understand why we are delaying the inevitable.
