He said that he wasn't playing Sandro because he wants to leave. Then why did he play Matt Phillips and Junior Hoilett when they also wanted to leave. Especially towards the end of the season when we had nothing to play for and this was an excellent time to experiment.
I (and this is a personal choice) lost interest in JFH at the end of last season for the reasons above and when he got rid of Faurlin and Clint who were the only leaders we had in the team. I don't buy the Faurlin wanted to play every week story because I don't think he was like that.

Listened to it. F acking hell. Very unimpressive. Clueless. Very attacking against Blackburn; would play the same selection against Newcastle..... What a strange selection of questions. Nothing about seven defensive players against Newcastle; Perch on RW; Cousins on RW; Yeni on wrong wing; Henry every f acking game; no RB.

Just listened to the interview and I was very much in the back jfh and give him more time camp but I am now even more concerned.
He basically claims that we should stick to the same formation because he is not willing to drop chery.
Surely he should sacrifice 1 player for the sake of the team? This isn't a player that has adels ability to cause mayhem.
The positive is, that he might not play washington as a lone striker and at least that was an important question addressed.
He seems a very blinkered manager that doesn't realise that it's not all about building a team around 1 player, who imo isn't that great and certainly limited.
There has clearly been a big fall out with Sandro, so why not just say so?! Instead of saying there are players ahead of him and fielding Henry in ever game who is another player with limitations.
He also spoke about the lack of pressing and effort against newcastle, yes part of that is true but we were basically outplayed by better players than the 11 he fielded, would sandro of made a difference yes a huge one, so tell us the real reason why sandro isn't playing?
I think the new players will make a difference but he must now start playing them, otherwise he will be down the job centre in a fortnight!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Here's what I think.
JFH has many positive qualities, including bravery, determination, loyalty and humour.
He also knows more about football and the specifics at QPR than any of us on here( as far as I am aware).
Most importantly, he is obviously a bright bloke who sticks by his team and beliefs.
I have long felt that the boo boys ( and girls) do nobody any favours at games, and if that is a specific trait of QPR then shame on us.
I for one am prepared to give the guy a chance following that interview. IF the team respond and give us fans something to shout positively about and IF we get the odd bounce in our favour, perhaps Jimmy's apparent stubbornness will win the day. After all, we all did want our Rangers back, didn't we?
There are always multiple ways of interpreting what was said, and given that I am in the JFH out camp, I might be unfairly choosing what comments I took from the interview.

Listened to the interview, came across very well. Made sense with what he said regarding formations, the Newcastle debacle, his response about Sandro was the right one as far as I'm concerned and it's what I've been saying is the reason was for quite a while. Simply put, you want to leave, you move to the bottom of the queue. We have the facts that he wanted to leave and we in truth had no desire to keep him, unlike the situation with Hoilett last season where the manager wanted him to stay.
I also like what he says about the striker situation, esp regarding CW. The transfer policy is one that works well in modern football too. He takes his time with what he says primarily because of the detail with which he describes everything and his English developing more with this sort of language.
And what he says about the fans is also a very strong statement, imo the right one, but with the way fans act here, a risky one. And as a fanbase, I want to reiterate this: If we keep the noise and support up for 90 minutes of football and the players fail to put in the effort, we have every right to complain. But if the players are playing in the morgue we've cultivated in the last 5 years. We are giving the players an excuse to give up because we as a fan base have given up in matches.
Everyone at this club, from the fans, to the players, the management, the ownership; everyone wants the same thing. By the same thread, everyone will act the same way. If we give up, they give up. We don't show passion, they won't. So lets do everything we can to show that passion, so show that determination as fans and you'll see the players will respond in tune. Just look at Leeds, look at that match against Derby, look at the Wigan play off match. Yes, those last two were big games but the point still stands. We always get the result when we go in and don't stop singing.
Look at how scared of us Chelsea were when they visited HQ. They were a shaken mess of footballers. Why? Because for that one game, we showed them that we were the fans we always say we are. We showed them that we are the most vocal, supportive bunch of pri 1cks in London. Lets get that back. That's what JFH wants, that's what we want and we have no reason not to at least try it."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

But we just voted Chery potm so he must be doing something right. As he put it, everyone around him needs to start carrying their weight because he's done his job regularly.
