That's not at all what this is about. The football has been limited the last few weeks and we're aware of that, but putting the blame on the shoulders of the management alone as opposed to the players when they have the collective ability to do better is such a skewed way of looking at it.

Also you said earlier the first sentence is my words, do you not get sarcasm? I even included a little rolling eyes smiley just to make it more clear...

If they are, the should all be out of here as far as I'm concerned. Players that do that are the real mercenaries of football and are a poor bunch. I wouldn't put it to this lot to be doing that, think just that we're going through a tough period right now, which happens. Everyone is to blame for it but I don't even think there should be blame, because these things happen and they sort themselves out.

Chelsea had Scolari a World Cup winning manager and the senior group downed tools on him. Our mob will not think twice with this guy as to be honest with you they are certain that he will not be here too much longer.

Chelsea have regularly downed tools, they're a bunch of tools themselves. Did it with Scolari, did it with Mourinho. They have no moral compass and no sense of self respect and to compare our players to theirs is an insult to the club.

Do you actually read anyone else's opinion Nas? I mentioned senior players at Chelsea downed tools. Two clubs worlds apart and not comparing clubs just the attitude of the modern footballer.

Yea but that's suggesting that all modern footballers at all levels think the same. You can't just go around saying "that's the attitude of the modern footballer" like it's an accepted phrase...

Nas, You should just allow people to have an opinion without feeling the need to challenge and contest all what is put up. After all it is about opinion. As for the modern footballer let me ask you why did it take 3 cars and 8 men to deliver a player to loftus rd to sign for us 4 years ago. Seeing what I saw tells me all I need to know about modern footballers. For every Steven Gerrard there are 20 Jose Bosingwa's.

I'm aware of the value of opinions, everyone has theirs and that's good for discussion. Argument exists because of opinions and if this forum had people just posting their opinions and ignoring everyone else's, it would be a pretty dull place. With that being said, again, you're just saying that most footballers follow the example of a few nump ties. We devalue the humanity of these players because they're in the public eye so much.

No I work in an industry where I get to meet and get to know them and as I said for every Gerrard there are 20 Bosingwa's and that is based on my experience.

Of course its disappointing that players can down tools, but when they do no manager is safe. Not even the special one. It may not be fair Naz, but as I have repeatedly pointed out to you its the manager who gets shown the door when the wheels come off. That's the reality of football.

The people who have has queried this appointment from day one have at least been consistent, just as you have in your unwavering if somewhat illogical support. Except after the Newcastle capitulation when just for a moment you yourself became objective. It didn't last though, despite the fact that Newcastle aren't that great - unless you invite them to take you apart like we did.

The reality here is that we are obviously dysfunctional as a football team, and in the real world the guv'nor is responsible for that state of affairs.

You can blame the players, but if they are sticking to their manager's instructions, is it really their fault?

I think if they were playing in a diffetent formation then we just might see some improved performances.
The managet has to take the blame because he chooses the team etc.
Why buy Borysuik and then leave him on the bench in favour of Henry?
Why persist woth Washington as a lone striker rathet than play Sylla?

Newcastle are not that great unless you let them control the game. wolves wrnt there and won.

exactly. Wolves had a bad result and came out fighting away from home.
