  • Nearly had enough of bothering

Been going for 46 years now and as each week goes by I am getting less and less excited about match day especially the last couple of seasons where we for the most part pay vast sums of money to watch absolute ####

I have been to every game this season but just could not be arsed with shelling out for the trip to Huddersfield and decided to get a ticket for the cricket final at Lords tomorrow instead

Will keep going until the end of the season as I renewed yet again more out of habit then love and thats the part that both worries and saddens me when the best part of the day at QPR is not the football but meeting your pals before and after the game

Totally agree. I have not enjoyed going for some time now. I live miles from London and it takes me the best part of 5 hours for a round trip to Loftus Road and what we have been served up these last few seasons does not warrant the effort and the cost in going these days.

I have also recently giving up drinking (10 months) so I don't have the whole boozing element of the day now so going just for the football is not enough for a " Day Out"

To be honest I think a lot of fans go more for the day on the booze then the actual football if the truth be known.

Guess I'm not the only one feeling like this either as there was only 13K at the Blackburn game.

So in a nutshell I'm not bothering anymore until the club starts bothering and start making a effort during the games.

Anyone who claims to enjoy watching the football being served need certifying and medical help. I renewed with 3 family members and can honestly say this season is the least I have looked forward to going in 30 odd years. But for my youngest son I would chuck going until changes were made on the pitch.

How anybody bought a ST after watching JFH first 8 odd games with us I will never understand.

It's like watching a #### film and going back watching the sequel which is #### then going to watch the 3rd film expecting it to be good!

Do you think it's Championship football in general as well? It's a poor standard IMO.

A depressing thread. Entirely the fault of the club and the s hit manager we've been saddled with. When a fan like Isleworth writes in such a manner (I don't know the fella, only from his posting on here) no amount of happy clapping, bigging up Jimmy and dream- like phantasmagorical statistics can hide the crisis we are in. My pal and his son had their season ticket refunded this week. I'm sure others are voting with their feet. Sad. No change of manager; no chance.

Don't think the standard is great but teams generally have a go at winning when they play something we are not set up to do.

Agree with 77. We will not change under this man and we either extend his contract or get rid as no point leaving it to december if we are not going to keep him.

If someone as loyal and dedicated as our very own Beefy is thinking of packing it in then that tells you all you need to know about the football under jfh

Last season did it for me i just pick and choose you have my every sympathy but this unfortunately is what will happen.I truly fear the fanbase will suffer immensely if things dont turnaround
                              sooner rather than later.
