Been there a few times in recent years and always drunk in The Head of Steam which is right next to the train station. I will be in there from about 1 on Saturday also, so if anybody wants photos or autographs they are more than welcome to approach me.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

And there's a statue of Harold Wilson in the square, just to make all you closet socialists feel at home.

He was born there and played left wing for Huddersfield in the 1934-5 season, before becoming an MP.

my old man's first port of call when he came over from Ireland. Supported them too, they were double winners early 30's
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
