      • Villas-Boas isn't coming here. He's managed CL teams and won leagues, I can't see him wanting to try his luck getting the best out of Conor Washington at Preston away.

Yes, our setup is unorthodox though.

Madness. At least it would be eventful I guess.

Honestly I don't think there's much (anything?) to be gained from sacking JFH right now.

The managers we've ignored over the Fernandes years including when we were EPL with a chance of staying up and willing to invest - only to end up with Hughes, Harry, CR and now this. AVB would come if the terms and conditions were right, but they wont be because of our reactionary fiscal policy. The irony of course is that money spent on the right gaffer is a better investment than paying peanuts for the wrong one. But Fernandes era QPR = boom and bust economics. Madness.

          • Sad part is we do not seem to have learned a thing as hanging onto a manager has cost us already. The only manager we sacked quickly was Warnock first time around.

              • How attractive a proposition is QPR to an established manager? Not very, I'd say. Especially under the current budgetary conditions. So our choice is limited to younger, 'hungrier' managers IMO. That's why I think much of this speculation , especially in regard to the experienced managers mentioned here is a waste of time. Before he joined West Ham Slaven Bilic was my idea of the perfect manager for us, but the situation has changed. Out of the managers who fit the younger criteria, who is there, really? Isn't it just another gamble? Isn't that a good reason to give JFH more time?

The shocking thing for me is seeing people legit want Pulis here... in some cases the same people who want him here are the ones complaining about the quality of the football. But for those who want to play fantasy owner, here's a list of all available managers in world football.

I mean, you can look at managers in jobs already but you won't get international quality managers from that. You'll be stuck with managers who have no prem experience, who have limited champ experience and in that case you might as well stick with JFH. Or god forbid you get the short straw and get stuck with Tony Pulis.

Obviously QPR are anathema to anyone with ideas about management autonomy, and equally obviously our reputation under TF has made us about as attractive an option as a bad case of piles.

On the other side of the coin is the fact that the current boss has shown no sign of development since Burton, trots out an endless succession of patently lame excuses and can't get them to stand up when under the cosh.

In business if you really want to recruit and you're prepared to be flexible you'll find your man. Since TF appears to have very limited understanding of football business we'll probably end up with the current incumbent in situ until rock bottom. If he's learned anything at all he'd lining people up now. I don't share the view that all this is somehow a complicated, compromised situation. Either you want QPR to be a football club or you don't. If you do, an you own the club, you're going to have to put the horse before the cart for once.

I hope that's the worst joke ever written? Barton. FFS. The man is poison, he has no passion for OUR club only passion for himself. Wouldn't even call it passion it's just his f*cking ego.

People need to stop glorifying and talking about him.
