Who do you think should replace JFH as manager

Villas-Boas isn't coming here. He's managed CL teams and won leagues, I can't see him wanting to try his luck getting the best out of Conor Washington at Preston away.

Originally posted by Southport View PostI wrote the name Karl Henry earlier, as he was an experienced professional coming towards the end of his career and frankly I think anyone could do a better job than Jimmy. My next suggestion is from the same place - Joey Barton. His career at Rangers could be over, he has played for us and he would ensure that there would be passion.
Honestly I don't think there's much (anything?) to be gained from sacking JFH right now.

How attractive a proposition is QPR to an established manager? Not very, I'd say. Especially under the current budgetary conditions. So our choice is limited to younger, 'hungrier' managers IMO. That's why I think much of this speculation , especially in regard to the experienced managers mentioned here is a waste of time. Before he joined West Ham Slaven Bilic was my idea of the perfect manager for us, but the situation has changed. Out of the managers who fit the younger criteria, who is there, really? Isn't it just another gamble? Isn't that a good reason to give JFH more time?

I mean, you can look at managers in jobs already but you won't get international quality managers from that. You'll be stuck with managers who have no prem experience, who have limited champ experience and in that case you might as well stick with JFH. Or god forbid you get the short straw and get stuck with Tony Pulis."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

On the other side of the coin is the fact that the current boss has shown no sign of development since Burton, trots out an endless succession of patently lame excuses and can't get them to stand up when under the cosh.
In business if you really want to recruit and you're prepared to be flexible you'll find your man. Since TF appears to have very limited understanding of football business we'll probably end up with the current incumbent in situ until rock bottom. If he's learned anything at all he'd lining people up now. I don't share the view that all this is somehow a complicated, compromised situation. Either you want QPR to be a football club or you don't. If you do, an you own the club, you're going to have to put the horse before the cart for once.
