Obviously it's a good thing that we are no longer looking to get mercenaries into the club with ultra expensive wage demands etc. However, we do seem to be trying to do things now on a shoestring budget. Before I get shouted down, I know this must be linked to the FFP fine hanging over us, but surely there must be another way of getting a bit more quality into the club in the areas we desperately need to strengthen? Premiership loans must be one way for example? Young, talented, up and coming players from established Premier league clubs would surely relish regular first team football at the Championship level as opposed to their own teams Youth set up? It's got to be a better option than the likes of...Niclas bloody Bendtner after all!

        Correct. Austin's place isn't threatened.

Looks a shadow of the player we had and thought as much when they played Man Utd

He didn`t look that bad, but I thought he looked well out of pace.

Just looked like someone he was going through the motions. Shame as he was a top lad for us.

I agree with all of you, he doesn't seem to.have that hunger. I.imagine if we got promoted he would come back. Good to see Jay Rodriguez get back and get a goal after all this time.

Always good to see a player who has had a terrible injury come back and do well. Things have Changed for Charlie as the man who signed him has gone.

He looks low on confidence and a bloke who knows he's not first choice !

We might have half a chance as he could be 5th choice after they sign the new bloke! Just would be suprsoed if a club like Burnley or Hull didn't try to prize him away on loan before we had a chance!
