The most ludicrous thing I've heard on here today is you saying CW got picked for the Euros because of NI's 'lack of options', and then further contradicted that by saying he was picked for his pace.

I mean, it's just a load of waffle cobblers half the time.

They lack attacking options that have pace, they have their tall guy, they have their finisher, they didn't have their pace player. They needed a pacy player so they picked an in form striker who'd just gotten a big move and he scored for them, but he didn't score for us. Good on him and all, I'd hoped he'd carry that over and I still hope he does, but it seems unlikely to me. When he went to the Euros, he looked really poor which was a shame because we all hoped he'd have a good one. Now he's come back and he's slowly improving his movement but his finishing and composure isn't there at all.

The length of my post is just indicative of the fact that I say a lot in them. I end up having to repeat because people don't bother reading the whole thing, meaning I get stuck writing longer posts.

Better to their style perhaps, I don't watch enough NI stuff but they seemed to want to counter whereas Wigan always seemed on the front foot and that meant chances came aplenty for Will Grigg.

I would suggest that instead of telling other people to read your posts, you read them yourself. I have just read through every one of your posts on this subject and frankly they are full of contradictions. Why don't you just say that you don't like Washington and don't think he will be successful at the club instead of trying to convince other people with your illogical arguments. I think most people agree that he hasn't really been given a chance and needs a run of matches to be able to prove himself. If this happens I feel that he will come good, provided everybody is patient. If he isn't given this chance, then I can't see how he is going to improve.

Because most of the times from my perspective based on what I see at the game and then what I see in the numbers, the players have either not been pants or I'd call their performance not up to their standards...

CW hasn't had high standards since coming here. The fact that people are talking up this performance as a good performance from him just shows that to me.

If this is one of his good games because he made good runs, bearing in mind his missed chances, poor touches, etc, then I think it shows that people are hopeful, more than legitimately in belief that eventually he'll perform way better than he ever has for us, for a striker, he hasn't had a legitimately good game for us yet, which is a shame, but that's what it is.

Like, Yeni for example played poorly against PNE and there's no denying that, but 1) so did everyone else that day and 2) he's just come off what I'd say is an above average pair (not spectacular) of individual performances against Swindon and Barnsley.

Nasser has been extremely inconsistent but he's shown talent just as much as he's frustrated imo and I like the flashiness that he brings, it gives us a new dimension of play. There are so many players who have had terrible matches for us but then have fantastic matches too.

CW has yet to have a good match as I said and that's my concern. Not a dislike for him, just a disappointment at the regularity of his poor performances and inability to take advantage of the chances he gets in the same way that others have (Chery, Polter, Nasser etc have scored off the bench to force themselves into the starting picture... they didn't get into the side under JFH from the off, they earned their place).
